In July I completed the commissioned painting shown below. The painting and its client sketch are currently on view at the Trout Museum of Art, in Appleton, WI. The commission required me to work much larger than is normal for my practice, and that experience has had positive aftereffects. The painting shows a tug and refueling barge heading out into Green Bay.
